Sve to još traje, ljubav ne prestaje – Breaking the Silence danas puni 32 godine.
Večiti razbijači tišine su: Milan Medenica, Miroslav Lazić, Marko Kotarac, Stevan Antonijević, Lazar Radić, Zoran Damnjanović, Uroš Aleksić i Miloš Necić.
BTS 32 – 1993 ’til infinity

🇬🇧 The English version is below.
I received this portrait of myself a few days ago from a teenage girl who has, until now, followed what’s been happening in our organization through YouTube. She says that starting this season, she plans to actually come to the shows. The drawing wasn’t made by artificial intelligence – she took the time and effort to draw everything herself, using only a graphite pencil. Ana, thank you so much! She also said she’s interested in creating a poster for one of our upcoming concerts.
It’s incredible how what we’ve been doing so far has inspired people to create so many beautiful things – I know that at least one university paper has been written on this topic, a (legendary hardcore) band wrote a song about us, the BTS logo appears on several physical album releases, high school students have done projects about us, some rooms are covered with posters from the shows we’ve organized, we’ve inspired some young people to start playing music, to meet each other and hang out more, and maybe even to form bands inspired by everything that’s been happening at the Etno Club…
I can’t describe how much all of this fulfills me. I think we’re all aware of how much this means to the people we meet at shows or even just on the street – it’s a big responsibility, but also a huge pleasure to be part of this story. We are grateful that you stand with us in the fight for this community and for the (not only) Smederevo alternative scene to grow on the foundations of solidarity, freedom of speech, and equality. Together, we are building a space of diversity and genuine self-expression – a place where art and togetherness know no prejudice.
On this day, 32 years ago, the Breaking the Silence radio show started broadcasting. And I’ll say it again – thanks to this show, I’ve met hundreds and hundreds of people who I now call my friends. I’m convinced that without this “hobby,” everything would be very different – duller, emptier, worse… I’m glad we’ve somehow managed to keep the show alive. It’s still going strong, the love hasn’t stopped – Breaking the Silence is 32 years old today.
The eternal breakers of silence are: Milan Medenica, Miroslav Lazić, Marko Kotarac, Stevan Antonijević, Lazar Radić, Zoran Damnjanović, Uroš Aleksić, and Miloš Necić.
